Do NOT Ignore These Shoulder Pain Signs

Shoulder pain is common—but some signs may indicate serious conditions like Adhesive Capsulitis or Rotator Cuff Tear.


Warning Signs You Should Not Ignore


1️⃣ Persistent Pain (>2 weeks)

Pain that does not improve with rest or medicines needs evaluation.


2️⃣ Difficulty Lifting Arm

Struggling to raise your arm overhead or sideways may indicate tendon injury.


3️⃣ Night Pain

Pain that worsens at night or disturbs sleep is a red flag.


4️⃣ Stiffness in Shoulder

Gradual loss of movement could be frozen shoulder.


5️⃣ Sudden Weakness

Weakness while lifting objects may indicate rotator cuff tear.


6️⃣ Pain After Injury/Fall

Could be ligament tear, fracture, or dislocation.

Pain lasting more than 10–14 days

Inability to move shoulder properly

Severe pain or swelling
