Back Pain in Young Patients – Why It’s Rising & What to Do

Back pain is no longer just an “age-related” issue — it’s becoming very common in people aged 18–40, especially students, IT professionals, and gym-goers.


Common Causes


1. Poor Posture (Most common)

Slouching while using phone/laptop

Long sitting hours without support

“Text neck” syndrome

✔ Sit straight – keep screen at eye level

✔ Take a break every 30–40 minutes

✔ Use lumbar support chair

✔ Maintain healthy weight
